Anniversary of the homicide of Eric Anderson

Kansas City police are releasing a surveillance video, hoping it'll give them some new leads in a year old murder case. Eric Anderson was killed on Dec. 6, 2016, at the Blue Bird Motel at 8920 E. U.S. 40 Highway in Kansas City, Mo., making him 2016’s 117th victim of homicide.

He was checking in as a guest at the hotel when he was shot and killed. Kansas City Homicide detectives need the public’s help in identifying this subject of interest captured on KCATA bus video.

He is wearing a black puffy vest over a patterned hoodie. He appears to be familiar with the area of 31st and Indiana. You can hear him speaking with the bus driver.
