Another KC grocer to start offering home delivery

November 06, 2017 - 2:07 pm

Starting Wednesday, you can get groceries brought to your doorstep from Price Chopper, the latest Kansas City Metro grocery chain to offer home delivery.

Iowa-based Hy-Vee has offered the service for months in the KC Metro, and other companies around the country have begun to offer home delivery of groceries - Amazon, WalMart, Aldi, and more.

Locally-owned Price Chopper is using Instacart - a company that operates as a same-day grocery delivery service - to bring same-day delivery to all of its 51 stores in Kansas and Missouri.

Jessica Bjorgaard, spokeswoman for Price Chopper, says it's easy to order on a desktop or mobile device.

Like with all grocery delivery services, there is a delivery charge added to each order.
