Kansas citizens have until the end of business Tuesday to register to vote in time to cast a ballot in the Nov. 6 midterm elections.

More than 415,000 people are already registered to vote in Johnson County, and the numbers continue to break records every day, said Ronnie Metsker, Johnson County election commissioner.

"This is high level engagement in voter registration," Metsker said.

There are multiple ways to register to vote; online, in-person and my mailing a form to the local election office.

Meanwhile, the Johnson County Election Office says it needs an additional 1,000 election workers. People can find information on the election office webpage.

The deadline to register in Missouri passed a week ago.
