UPDATE: Names released in Sunday's Costco shooting in Lenexa

Lenexa, KS - Investigators have released the names of those involved in the shooting that took place inside a Costco store at 9350 Marshall Drive on Sunday morning.

Ronald Hunt, 58, of Edwardsville, KS entered the Costco just after 11am yelling and threatening customers while brandishing a firearm, according to Lenexa police.

At the same time, off-duty KCK police Captain Michael Howell was inside shopping and saw customers fleeing.

Howell engaged Hunt in the store, firing shots and killing him.

No one else was hurt.

The Johnson County Officer Involved Shooting Investigation Team (OISIT) is conducting the investigation.
