Thief uses credit card left in stolen car at stores in Overland Park

Overland Park, KS - Police are trying to find a woman suspected of stealing a car and using the owner's credit cards to purchase items.

Officers says the car was stolen August 7th from the 9600 block of Perry. 

They say the owner left her purse and wallet inside the vehicle.

Shortly after the car was stolen several fraudulent charges were discovered on the victim’s credit card. 

The suspect went to two separate stores in the 7500 block of Metcalf and one in the 7700 block of Frontage road and bought several items. 

She is seen on a security camera recording leaving one of the stores after using the credit card.

The car was later recovered in Kansas City, Kansas near 10th Street and Bethany.

The suspect is a white woman with blonde hair, 5’06” to 5’08”, and weighs 145-170 lbs.  She also has a tattoo on her left forearm.
