Police respond to multiple shootings Friday Night

Police in Kansas City are asking the publics help in identifying suspects in three separate shootings that occurred Friday night.  Around 6:30 officers responded to shots fired at car wash near Independence and Hardesty. The victim was found inside a silver Kia. Then at 8:15 p.m. police went to a neighborhood near East 6th street and Cleveland where they found a found a second shooting victim who was rushed to an area hospital.  Then just after 10 o'clock officers went to a residence off 25th and Van Brunt boulevard where they found a man laying on a porch who suffered gun shot wounds.  All three victims died from injuries. As of July 21, 84 homicides have been reported in Kansas City compared to 56 at the same time last year.  Anyone with information should call the Tips Hotline at 816-474 - TIPS (8477).
