Wind chills are expected to drop below zero degrees by 4:00pm with real temperatures dropping into the teens.

Dangerous cold is likely overnight with wind chills of -15 degrees to -35 degrees.

The record low temperature for Wednesday in Kansas City is -7 degrees set back in 1918.

In Northern Missouri, Wednesday's actual low temperature may drop to -20 degrees.
