Kansas City, MO - There are changes ahead for driving and parking at the Kansas City International Airport.  Demolition of Terminal A begins later in May as construction on the new airport single-terminal begins.

First up - to make way for construction crews and equipment - parking lots E1 and E2 are closing permanently on Friday and on Monday.  Vehicles parked in the lots will be able to exit, however, no new parking will be allowed. Travelers will have a few weeks to get their cars out.

Engineers will then be re-routing traffic away from the Terminal A area - closing off a portion of International Circle, creating a two-way traffic flow to access both Terminals B & C during the construction.

Construction on roundabouts begins in August and traffic is expected to flow in the new configuration in June 2020.

Once the new terminal is built, International Circle will return to one-way traffic.
