One person is dead after a triple shooting in KCK

Police are still looking for suspect

Police in KCK are investigating a triple shooting that occurred around Friday evening near 41st and Adams.  First responders found three black males, inside of a vehicle who had been shot. Investigators say after the shooting the victims drove to 41st and Booth Street where they made contact with police.

The victims were taken to a local hospital for medical attention. One of the victims died later as a result of his injuries and the other two victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The identity of the deceased victim will not be released pending positive identification and family notification. This incident remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, who is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
