Kansas City, MO - A carjacking that began Monday morning in Kansas City's Old Northeast ended when the stole car crashed into another vehicle and a building at the corner of 18th and Locust in the Crossroads.

According to KCPD, three people were inside the stolen green mustang and one person was in the other vehicle.  All four were taken to a hospital following the crash.

The crash caused a gas leak in the struck building, forcing the evacuation of people in the area.

According to a business owner in the building, it had been hit a few months ago in another crash and repairs were supposed to begin today.
