Kansas City, MO - School districts around the Kansas City Metro are off again on Friday, due to several inches of snow falling throughout the day.

The move may have seemed strange for parents who looked outside and saw dry streets, but forecasters have been calling for several inches of snow.

"We're certainly looking at deteriorating conditions as we continue into the mid to late morning hours," said Scott Blair, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill. "By the time it's all said and done we're looking at, generally about four inches for Kansas City, with maybe a few isolated higher amounts."

The heaviest snowfall is expected between mid morning and early afternoon.

Here is a list of school cancelations and delays.
