Lots of thing to do in KC ahead of the Chiefs playoff game

Kansas City, MO - Several events are scheduled this week as the Kansas City Chiefs head into the NFL playoffs this coming Sunday, January 12th at 2pm. 

Friday night, Kansas City's skyline will glow red to support for the team.

Here's how you can paint the town red ahead of the game at Arrowhead Stadium against the Houston Texans.

See and have your photo taken with a VERY LARGE 7-foot-tall Patrick Mahomes bobblehead at several locations across Kansas City this week.

Mon. Jan. 6: Olathe HyVee (W. 119th Street) - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Tues. Jan. 7: Mission HyVee (Martway) - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Wed. Jan. 8: Independence HyVee (Noland Road) - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Thurs. Jan. 9: JC Nichols Fountain - Country Club Plaza - 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Sat. Jan. 11: Blue Springs HyVee (40 Highway) - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sun. Jan 12: GAME DAY - Ford Tailgate District at Arrowhead



The famous pioneer statues in Kansas City's Westport district will be outfitted in special Chiefs gear ahead of the game. See the event on Wed. Jan. 8 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.



The Country Club Plaza is getting a special red makeover on Thurs. Jan. 9. See Chiefs flags go up and the famous Plaza statues outfitted in Chiefs gear from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.



Take a very special ride on the KC Streetcar on Red Friday - Jan. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Past spirit events on the streetcar have included appearances by KC Wolf and the Chiefs Rumble drumline.
