President Donald Trump's Monday evening Tweet in which he announced plans to deport millions of people in the country illegally stirred up immigration advocates from coast to coast.

Mira Mdivani of Mdivani Corporate Immigration Law Firm believes Trump's presidency symbolizes a wave of change in attitude toward immigrants and businesses with international employees.

"That's just very bad news for both the economic side as well as the human side of the equation," Mdivani said.

The president's social media messages are contrary to our country's beliefs, Mdivani said. The U.S. Border Patrol has called the situation at the southern border, with waves of Central American migrants clamoring to cross, a national crisis.

"We should be a country of laws, and stable enforcement and rules," Mdivani said. "Instead we have tweets that terrify the population?"

But the president's allies say sanctuary cities and a refusal to deal with illegal immigrants represents a system that flouts the law. The president has said the Democrat agenda of open borers is a the 'greatest betrayal of the American middle class.

Mdivani says the illegal immigration issue doesn't just concern immigrants, but all Americans. She says we need proper legislation, rather than what she calls scary tweets from our president.
