Lawrence has been through this before and once again the city and its police department are making preparations ahead of the NCAA basketball tournament's remaining games.

The Kansas Jayhawks face Clemson in a Sweet 16 matchup Friday night in Omaha. A victory then would bring about a game against the winner between Syracuse and Duke.
The city has banned glass bottles downtown during the Elite Eight game on Sunday, should KU defeat Clemson. The ordinance would be enforced with $100 fines.

The ordinance would not be enforced if the Jayhawks fail to make the regional final.

In the South Regional, Kansas State takes on Kentucky in the Sweet 16.

The winner of that game will play one of two tournament Cinderellas - Loyola-Chicago or Nevada.
