School superintendents around the Kansas City area again called off classes Monday because of bitter cold temperatures.

The temperature at 6 a.m. Monday in Kansas City was 2 degrees. Light northwest winds brought the wind chill factor to below zero. Cold weather is expected to continue Tuesday, but early morning temperatures were not expected to be as low.
