A judge is telling Jackson County Executive Frank White that he can't mess with the "Community Backed Anti-Drug Tax". The temporary court order means that White and his staff can't interfere with the day to day operations of COMBAT.

The county legislature turned control of the anti drug program over to prosecutor Jean Peters-Baker. White refused to give up the reins. On Tuesday, legislators filed a writ of prohibition.

White has until February 2 to file his legal arguments.  He and legislators have butted heads on a number of issues for several months.
