Josh Earnest, who served as press secretary during the Obama administration, spent an entire hour with E.J. Becker and Ellen Schenk Friday morning on Kansas City's Morning News.

Earnest, 42, spoke about his experiences in the White House, and what he is working on now.

A Kansas City native, he also shared his thoughts on a proposed new single-terminal for KCI Airport.

Following his stint with the Obama administration, Earnest was signed by NBC and MSNBC as a political analyst.

Earnest was back in town as the featured speaker for the 2017 Ages of Excellence Celebration benefiting benefits Village Shalom.
