A tall crane was spotted Friday morning at Schlitterbahn water park.

The heavy machine is set up next to Verruckt, the world's tallest water slide, which is slated to be torn down soon. Caleb Schwab, 10, was killed while riding Verruckt in August of 2016.

An official date for the demolition of the slide has not been announced.

Two Schlitterbahn maintenance workers were acquitted this month of impeding the investigation into the boy's death.

Three other people have pleaded not guilty to criminal charges involving the accident on Verruckt.

Schlitterbahn co-owner Jeff Henry and Verruckt designer John Schooley are each charged with second-degree murder, aggravated battery and aggravated endangerment of a child. Former director of park operations Tyler Miles is charged with involuntary manslaughter.
