KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For the first time since 1970 Kansas City is hosting a parade for the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs.

The city released schedule details shortly after the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-20.

The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020. The parade route is being withheld because of security concerns.

The city encourages fans to visit the #chiefsparade website for updates.

An estimated 800,000 people attended the parade and rally to celebrate the Royals' 2015 World Series victory.
