Cause of death determined in Toni Anderson case

NKC police release dashcam of traffic stop before her disappearance

The death of Toni Anderson was hypothermia and drowning, according to a release from Kansas City police.  She also had ethanol, cocaine and methamphetamine in her system at the time of death.

Police say her death was accidental.

Anderson, 20, went missing after being pulled over by a North Kansas City police officer at 4:25am on January 15, 2017. 

She was found almost two months later on March 10 with her car in the Missouri River near Parkville.

Police say the case into her disappearance is now closed.
