Families of three murdered men are still looking for answers after the arrest of a suspect in two other murders along Indian Creek Trail in Kansas City.

Frederick Scott, 22, is considered a suspect in the remaining murders, including Mike Darby, who owned Coach's Bar & Grill at 103rd Street South and Wornall.

"The family's confident that they have the right person," said Bob Darby, Mike's brother. "I'm dead sure that they have the right person and we're confident that it's going to be solved."

The arrest has left grieving loved ones with a mixture of emotions.

"The perfect word is bittersweet," said Brian Darby, Mike's son and successor at Coach's. "I'm happy for the other families, that they're going to get closure, but I'm also jealous of them."

"It was kind of every emotion possible, all happening at the exact same time," said Mindy Lenox, describing what it felt like to hear charges read against Scott.

Lenox's father, David, was murdered while walking his dog. Scott is not charged in Lenox's death.

"If we're going to do this dance I would just assume have the proof and the evidence that he did kill my father," Brian Darby said.
