Someone spray-painted Browne's Irish Market, a Kansas City landmark, with anti-immigrant graffiti.

Sometime over the weekend the tagger left the message, "IMMIGRANTS NOT WELCOME" on one of the front panels of the business at 33rd and Pennsylvania.

At 131 years of age, Browne's is the oldest Irish-owned business in North America, an establishment that is rooted in Irish immigration. It was a place where "just overs" from Ireland knew they would be welcome.

There was no other damage to the building, and the vandalism has already been washed away.

The Kansas City Police Department is investigating.
