The 30th annual Run for the Wall passes through Kansas City on Monday as thousands of motorcyclists make their way to the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington D.C.

Veterans are joined by supporters and patriots from California to the District to honor the people who are unable to join them.

The bikers plan a stop in Concordia, Missouri around lunchtime Monday. They will have an escort with the Missouri State Highway Patrol starting at the state line.

The riders expect to make it to the nation's capitol by Friday night.

A ceremony is planned for Saturday morning at Arlington National Ceremony, then a final afternoon ride to the Wall.
